"Ambivalence"

"Ambivalence" (3/4-inch video and B&W Super 8 film, June 1991, 18 minutes), concentrates on the notion of ambivalence and ennui operating in two characters in a world dominated by war, television and unacknowledged traditions, and aims to show that confronting and negating certain societal expectations can lead paradoxically to a sense of rebirth and a renewal of hope.
