"Looking Back From Here"Looking Back - Video still Frank Ragano 2003 Created by: Frank Ragano Frank Raganošs video installation is a sensually beautiful look back at the place of his birth in Tampa near the Gulf of Mexico, from his current home in New Mexico. Having just turned 50 years old, he was impelled to revisit his beloved Gulf literally and artistically. In the process he explores their differences and their similarities and as a side trip wonders about self consciousness vs. immersed awareness. |
