Corey Jane Holt
Corey Jane Holt has performed and recorded a wide
variety of 20th and 21st century piano works.
Her most recent CD, "Unmistakably Modern",
was released in January 2003.
She has premiered numerous pieces, many of which
were written specifically for her, and has performed
on over two dozen recordings, both classical and
pop. She serves as Vice-President of the Bonk
Festival of New Music and has been a core performer
at the festival since 1992.
She is a frequent soloist with the University of
South Florida Percussion and Marimba Ensembles.
As accompanist for Le Petit Choeur, she has toured
throughout England, Wales, the United States and
Scotland. She is also a member of Confluences,
a trio consisting of trumpet, trombone and piano,
which recently performed at Weill Recital Hall
at Carnegie Hall.
Ms. Holt received a BA from the University of Iowa
and a MM from the Eastman School of Music. She
currently resides in Tampa, Florida, where she
is active as both performer and teacher.
