Daniel Baeder graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he studied both traditional printmaking as well as digital printmaking. He currently is a second-year graduate student
at the University of South Florida, where he is exploring the world of video.

This is Daniel's first entry and acceptance into any film festival.

"Through these pieces I wish to explore the disregarded self that we often keep hidden from others. Although through hiding these flaws we maintain the integrity of the image we wish to project, this often prevents us from acknowledging our true nature and how we have become who we are."

"These videos are a very personal critical analysis; however, they also reflect consumerism and vanity that is prevalent in our current social construct."
