"Cremaster 1"
Filmed in Boise, Idaho, "Cremaster
1" (1995) is the first of the epic
five-part "Cremaster Cycles"
by Matthew Barney. "Cremaster
1" is a musical revue performed
on the blue Astroturf playing field
of Boise's Bronco Stadium.

Rendered as a gothic Western that introduces
conflict into the system. "Cremaster
2" (1999) corresponds on the biological
level to the phase of fetal development

Wynn Boyd about Ferdie Pacheco, former doctor and friend of Muhammed Ali,
and an artist in his own right.

City of Tampa Poet Laureate James Tokely Sr. will read "War of the Gods".
