Work: The Allegory of the Cave
When:
Where:
Andrew Lyman-Clarke has been doing media art for about ten years, beginning with short parodies
created with his friends and relatives.
Prior to that, he had always been in school plays, written
stories, drawn cartoons, sculpted, painted and generally shown an aptitude for art.
Now, he is
fortunate to be at an outstanding liberal arts college where his resources, in terms of personnel,
equipment and information, dwarf his aspirations. In addition to filmmaking, he pursues evolutionary
studies in an effort to understand human life.
His burgeoning interest is cognitive neuropsychology-
where a hard science meets a soft one, shedding light onto "the most complex piece of matter in
the universe": the mind-brain. Other interests include circus performance and musical improvisation.
He tries to be completely present at all times in order to get the most out of life.
One day, these
efforts, in conjunction with his dream studies, may yield the secrets of time travel. Filmography:
