Works: "Messenger"

Gary Beeber is an American photographer/video artist who has been exhibiting since the early nineties and continues to promote his work in film festivals and galleries across both the United States and Europe.

"Messenger", which was completed in May of 2006, is Mr. Beeber's first documentary film. It won "Best Documentary Short" at the 2006 Coney Island Film Festival, and was also an official selection of the 2006 Charlotte Film Festival and 24fps Video and Film Festival in Abilene Texas.

Some notable recent exhibitions have included; DiVA Taipei 2006, DiVA NYC 2005, Art Shanghai 2005, Photo New York 2004, Scope Art Fair 2004, and both ArtLA and Photo LA 2004.

Other film credits include the sever-minute short experimental piece entitled "Happy Ride", which was recently featured at DiVA Taipei, 2006. "Happy Ride" was also an official selection of the 2005 Coney Island Film Festival, The 2005 Bristol Silents Festival (Bristol, UK), and Gen Art's 2005 IGNITE! Festival (NYC).

Other experimental pieces include "Lonely Ride, Coney Island", which premeired as a video installation at the Coney Island Museum in 2005 and 2006, and "Victoriana", a short experimental piece based on a Victorian photograph.
