Syrup Pirates was founded by Jason "Neko" Payne. He is the one responsible for the creation of such lovable characters as Katie Kat, Jelli-bunni, and Evil, the little armless girl.

Since 2001, Syrup Pirates has been his vessel to delivering his epic visions, and this vessel has grown with him - it has been a journalism site, a community writers board, and a place for online comics.

It has been everything that he has been with the fortitude to keep going on - a testing ground of ideas and dreams.
