Shahreyar Ataie's installation, designed to be passive during the day, becomes alive in the evening as 20 motorized screens activate. Commissioned artists and composers have collaborated to create a unique projection and soundscape for each evening of the festival. Artists include: Paul Reller, Gustavo Matamoros, Stan Kozma, Pat Oleszko and Frank Regano. A different performace will be presented at 8pm Friday and Saturday. Projections will follow until 11pm each night.
Tonight: Tampa composer Paul Reller will present "What Ten Cents Could Buy (And Other Ybor City Memories)", a work of projections and soundscape.

This piece by Paul Reller is based on the Ybor City memories of long-time Tampa resident Jerry Garcia. Tales of earning money and living in Ybor City bring to life a long past and simpler time in what was one of the country's most unique communities.
