"CONStruct"

Wherever two things are placed side by side there exists the metaphorical structure inherent to meaning.

"CONstruct" is a site-specific outdoor installation that juxtaposes imagery of Yosemite's Vernal Fall progressing forward and backward - i.e., the water travels into the past and toward the future simultaneously - with imagery of construction workers operating tractors and other heavy machinery at a nearby site in Ybor City (the footage presents a glimpse into the installation process of a hurricane drainage system).

The work as such points to both the creative propensities as well as some of the paradoxical conundrums intrinsic to constructing a theoretical posture on time.
