Director Statement
"By birth and temperament, I am a midwesterner — a political moderate and pragmatist. I am drawn to the sane center; more interested in what is sensible and decent than in extreme political or religious theories.
"It was surprising to me that I would produce such a raw and disturbing video like "Torn Asunder". But what the ideologues in the Bush administration and cynical corporate cronies have done to my beloved country is unbearable.
"Please note that the soundtrack does not contain any mention of the president or his minions, or any obscene language. The real obscenity is this administration."
