A glimpse into the hotel rooms of a struggling young writer, fatalistic alcoholic, exhausted businessman, seasoned prostitute, and an elderly woman with dementia. Through repetitious, sustaining ritual that inevitably offers little hope of exorcism from their situation, each are lost to varying degrees within the conditions that plague them.

As a whole, the group comments on organic issues symptomatic of human nature including polar dualities, limitation, fleeting connectedness, temporary relation, confusion, and disorientation, with the use of necessary process and pattern for survival.
