Paul Fierlinger, born in Japan in 1936, made his first animated film at the age of 12 by shooting drawing in his flipbook
with a 16mm Bolex. He since has produced traditional and computer-assisted, hand-drawn animations for PBS, ABC and
US Healthcare, among other organizations. Sandra Fierlinger, an artist in her own right, has collaborated with her
husband on many films.
