Down The Drain

Chris Rish and Rebecca Brillhart created Down the Drain, a larger than life sized experience in the expenditure of one of the planet's most precious resources. The video installation is located in the HCC-Ybor Performing Arts Building.

Chris Rish is a filmmaker, professor and media consultant. He holds a Master's degree in Media Studies and Journalism from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg.

Chris' work has been showcased and honored in film festivals across North America. The principle at ChRishCo Inc., he writes, produces and shoots trans-media content.

His clients include PBS, Cisco Systems, The University of South Florida, The Salvador Dali Museum, Haggar Menswear and Red Bull among many others.

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Rebecca Brillhart has worked for over fifteen years as a filmmaker in Florida and New York City.

She has enjoyed a wide range of projects and film genres including ad campaigns for the Public Broadcasting Service, television programs including Law and Order and Sex and the City and feature films like the Ocsar-Nominated Unfaithful and the feature documentary Capturing the Friedmans.

She enjoys mixing up her portfolio and pushing the envelope, exploring narrative, documentary and experimental genres. She is the founder of Elephant Cinema and currently directs, produces and edits company projects.
